Your Help Is Requested to Renovate the
LSU Equine Intensive Care Unit
Pans have been drawn. Space has been located. All that's lacking is the funding to make
it all possible.
We're experiencing growing pains! The increasing number of horses admitted to the
School of Veterinary Medicine's Equine Hospital has put a strain on the capacity of our
existing Intensive Care Unit, which was built in 1978. The two-stall unit badly needs
expanding and upgrading, but funding for the project is not available.
Perhaps you can help by contributing to the Equine ICU Fund. We need to raise $300,000
to complete the project. What a wonderful way to honor a special horse or horse lover,
and to be a part of a program that so directly benefits the horses in our care.
