| The LSU-EHSP SSA Agrement |
This Auction shall be govered by the following terms and conditions:
- The 2003 SSA will be conducted by on-line internet bidding only. Information is available and bids can be made at: http://equine.vetmed.LSU.edu
- The stallion services offered in this auction are intended for the 2003 breeding season only.
- A bidder may bid on any number of stallion services.
- The minimum bid for each stallion will be indicated in the program and on the website.
- Bidding closes at 12:00 noon, November 15, 2002. Bids received after this time will not be accepted.
- The winning bidder must submit a check along with the bid form made out to the LSU Foundation with EHSP indicated on the 'For' line within two weeks of notification.
- Bids will be posted on the website immediately with the highest bid always being current.
- Bids are binding.
- No refunds will be given on posted bids.
The EHSP urges bidders to contact stallion owners before bidding and to become familiar with the breeding contract, terms and expenses involved with the stallion services on which they bid. The stallion owner has the right to refuse any mare not registered with the Stallion's governing registery. The winning bidder agrees to abide by the terms of the stallion owner's breeding contract. The EHSP does not assume liability for any disputes that may arise between the bidder and the stallion owner. |
