LSU Hosts Dressage
Association Meeting
 Members of the Louisiana/Mississippi Dressage & Combined Training Association met at the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine on May 15.
After their business meeting, the group was treated to a tour of the equine facilities in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital and Clinics, which included treatment areas for nuclear scintigraphy, equine radiology, ultrasound, surgery, intensive care, reproduction, and lameness evaluation.
LSU equine faculty and staff members demonstrated equipment used in treatments and answered questions regarding each procedure.
Following the tour, Dr. Carol S. Foil, professor of veterinary dermatology, presented a lecture on equine dermatology to the group.
