EQUUS 21 -- Full Stride into the 21st Century
   John and Saundra Lane Garrett and Gerry and Faye Lane are recognized for the family's remarkable leadership donation of $50,000 in support of the new Equine Intensive Care Unit at the School of Veterinary Medicine. EQUUS 21 kicks off 'Full Stride into the 21st Century'.
LSU Foal Team.... providing that little bit extra!   Dedication and hard work mixed with TLC..... that describes the LSU Foal Team. Come spend the 2:00 - 4:00 a.m. shift with the crew as they assist in the care of critically ill foals.
   Multidisciplinary teams of LSU scientists have attracted over 3/4 million dollars in extramural funds for equine research. Problems under study include colic, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), laminitis, parasitism and regulation of the reproductive cycle.
